A graphic designer who dreams to be a real magician

His name is Davit Msakhuradze. He thinks If he would be a real magician he will not need to use any transport:

“I will be able to use spells to do certain things, for example, transfiguration or levitation, so I will not use any transport. I could use the “Cruciatus” spell also to torture some people if necessary” he adds.

After 1st public school, and private lessons he studied Multimedia design in Georgian-American university.

For Davits` opinion journalism will help him to be more open to the world, news be more active. " with graphic design and generally with art stuff you easily can earn money and still stay static, so I didn’t choose journalism just to have another profession, it will help me to develop as a person and professional too" he said.

Davit heard and played music, but he said that it has form of expromt or improvisation. He too lazy to write down the sheet music.

About his hobby we can say that is playing and listening to classical piano music. His “just Hobby” is Video Gaming, with great graphics, story and gameplay.

He happy that he isn`t married and haven`t got children. “Because I want to live an interesting life, without any frames and extra responsibilities.” - he says.

His favorite book is The Dinner by Herman Koch. He thinks it is one of the best he has read/

Davit said: “One reason is that Koch writes in very attractive manner and the second reason is that I identify myself in one of the main characters and it made the book very involving”.

Davit also has interesting thought about religion and god. He thinks that god is not as described in Bible, Quran or somewhere else, but otherwise the world would be less interesting and religions are restrictions for someone and last hope for other type of people. He supposes religion is the same as mythology.

He is not interested in places or countries at all. That`s why he has traveled only Batumi and Tbilisi. “Actually I don’t mind, but I think it would be great for my photography portfolio.” – he says.

For him opinion his country`s main problem is peoples` damaged mentality which slow down the development of whole country and grow the next generation up very incorrectly. ". I will always say what is wrong with us in order to make others see the problem they didn’t noticed or cared before as a poster designer, photographer or journalist" - he says.

Although Davit has enough close friends he used to be asocial. The main difference of him from others is he perceive music in different manner, examining it, think about the details, background, patterns, composer’s inspiration and don’t “just” listen and enjoy.

He love and hate same side of himself. It is a perfectionism. He can’t show anything to the audience if himself consider his work perfect. Davit says that it is not because he fears criticism, but because he feels extremely uncomfortable if he notice some flaw in his work.

His interest in Photography developed parallel to Graphic designer, it was 4-5 years ago. His favorite photo is the photo of his shadow called Faust. We saw it in our Photojournalism class.

Davit speaks Russian, English, German and working at Livingstone, a digital agency.

About his reaction to someone`s critic like that: "Not very pleasant, not necessary, so I take it adequately" he says.
